By using SimpleFax ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SimpleFax provides an online fax transmission service. Users can upload documents and send them via fax to a specified recipient number for a flat fee of $3.99 per transmission (up to 10 pages).
3. No Account Required
SimpleFax does not require you to create an account. We collect only the minimum information necessary to process your fax: your document(s), the recipient fax number, your name, and your email address (for delivery confirmation only).
4. Payment
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- The fee for each fax transmission is $3.99, charged as a one-time payment.
- There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees.
- By submitting payment, you authorize us to charge the specified amount to your payment method.
5. Document Handling
- Documents you upload are used solely for the purpose of fax transmission.
- Your files are deleted from our servers immediately after successful transmission.
- If a transmission fails, files are retained for retry attempts and deleted within 24 hours.
- We do not read, analyze, copy, or share the contents of your documents.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SimpleFax to:
- Send unsolicited faxes (spam or junk fax)
- Transmit illegal, threatening, harassing, or defamatory content
- Violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar laws
- Send faxes to numbers you do not have authorization to contact
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate transactions that violate these terms.
7. Delivery and Reliability
- We make reasonable efforts to ensure your fax is delivered successfully.
- Delivery times vary but typically range from 2-10 minutes after payment.
- We cannot guarantee delivery if the recipient's fax machine is turned off, busy, or otherwise unavailable.
- If a fax fails to transmit due to issues on our end, you will receive a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
8. Limitation of Liability
SimpleFax is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction in question ($3.99).
- We are not responsible for the actions of recipient parties or the content of documents you choose to transmit.

10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
